Jane G. Anderson, L.C.S.W., B.C.D.

Jane Anderson is a licensed, board certified diplomate in clinical social work.
She holds master’s degrees in education and clinical social work and has over 30
years of professional experience with individuals and families. As a reading
specialist and teacher of English in public high schools and then as a clinical
social worker in agencies, residential treatment settings and in private
practice, Ms. Anderson has worked with thousands of clients, including adults,
adolescents and families in Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Delaware. She is the
former clinical director of SOAR, Inc., a program for survivors of sexual abuse
in Wilmington, and is regarded in the community as a highly effective therapist
for this population. She is a member of the Gestalt Therapy Institute of
Philadelphia and is certified by the International Coaching Federation as a
professional coach.
Ms. Anderson’s practice at Delaware Family Center focuses on issues of traumatic sexualization, professional coaching, adolescents, couples (including gay and lesbian couples), supervision, EMDR, families and women’s issues.
In personal time, Ms. Anderson, a native of Wilmington, enjoys family, music and gardening.
