Our Services...

Delaware Family Center is made up of eight psychologists and social workers, all licensed by the state of Delaware to practice independently. We are a private practice offering assessment, counseling and psychotherapy, professional coaching, consultation, supervision and employee assistance serving the needs of children, adolescents, men, women, couples, families, schools and businesses and other organizations. Individuals, couples and families are seen in a private, comfortable office setting. Lectures, seminars, consultation, student testing and crisis intervention for schools, businesses and other organizations are arranged based on the needs and resources.

Each clinician brings to the practice a unique collection of talents, knowledge, skills, and experiences adding value to our menu of services offered. Other services offered include professional life coaching, career interest assessment and planning, clinical training and supervision, custody and visitation evaluation and mediation, divorce mediation, employee assistance programming, management and supervisory training and consultation, “lunch and learn” seminars for business groups, community education presentation, and critical incident stress debriefing.

Employee Assistance Services...

Employee Assistance services are programs developed for businesses and other organizations to prevent personal, emotional, behavioral and other problems from negatively affecting health and productivity of employees and their family members. Programs usually offer several free assessment and counseling sessions, wellness programs, manager and supervisor training and consultation, and critical incident intervention. Companies have found that Employee Assistance Programs more than pay for themselves by saving jobs, decreasing sick leave, reducing medical and disability costs, improving safety, and enhancing trust and morale among employees.
